Pediatric secondary IOL placement in the sulcus space

Erick D. Bothun, M.D., a pediatric ophthalmologist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, inserts an intraocular lens (IOL) in an aphakic eye in a boy with a history of cataract surgery as an infant. Dr. Bothun's insertion of a new IOL replaces the 10-year old's chronic contact lens use.
