Imad Absah, M.D., a gastroenterologist at Mayo Clinic's campus in Rochester, Minnesota, discusses a recently published review in the Journal of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition about fat-soluble vitamin deficiencies in pediatric patients with newly diagnosed celiac disease. The results show that is uncommon to have low vitamin levels in children with newly onset celiac disease.
